The Virginia Daffodil Society was founded in 1992 to promote the growing and exhibiting of daffodils, increase knowledge of hybridizing, and develop an increased awareness of the beauty of daffodils.
The Society meets three times a year; the annual meeting and bulb exchange in October, a joint board/member meeting in February, and a picnic each summer. Newsletters are published quarterly.
The annual VDS daffodil show is held at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, usually around the last weekend in March. Check our 'Upcoming Page' for the upcoming events.
Membership is open to anyone interested in daffodils and meeting other like-minded folks. Members are scattered throughout Virginia.
