After years in the Los Angeles film industry, I returned to Hanover County to be closer to my mom, longtime VDS member Barbara Covington. Inspired by the thousands of daffodils she has propagated around our home over 50 years, I wrote a short film to showcase their beauty. The film was so well received that I’ve expanded it into a collection of nine standalone short film scripts, each with daffodils playing a pivotal role. Together, they’ll equal the length of a feature film.
To bring this vision to life, I’m seeking help from the VDS community in two ways:
Bulbs or Planting Help – In the fall of 2026, I’ll be propagating and planting to create the perfect cinematic daffodil landscape.
Spreading the Word – As we move toward pre-production, helping by sharing updates would make a big difference.
Thanks for following my social media pages! We are aiming to film in 2027 or 2028, depending on crowdfunding. My goal is to plant more daffodils farther into the world, and capture their magic on film.
